Construction Specializations

Ahtna Construction offers a broad range of services including a strong background in civil construction projects in Alaska, ranging from road/highway construction, heavy/industrial contracting, electrical/mechanical contracting, aggregate materials, crushing/hauling services, and over 25+ years of pipeline maintenance.

When choosing a contractor to work with, Safety is a key consideration. Ahtna Construction, from executive management to craft employees has adopted the philosophies of S.A.F.E. (Shaping Accident Free Environments). S.A.F.E. is a behavioral driven process that dictates we devote our time and energies to the “Left hand side of Zero”, being proactive. All employees are asked to publicly commit to making the “Incident and Injury Free” vision a reality. Ahtna Construction also received the Associated General Contractors of Alaska (AGC) 2006 Excellence in Construction Safety Award.
