bonded, with established financial resources.
Ahtna Construction is a subsidiary of Ahtna, Inc., one of the 13 regional
corporation established by Congress in 1971 under the Alaska Native
Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Ahtna, Inc. has over 1,200 shareholders
and a land entitlement of 1.7 million acres in Alaska.
Ahtna Construction offers a broad range of services including a strong
background in civil construction projects in Alaska, ranging from
road/highway construction, heavy/industrial contracting, electrical/mechanical
contracting, rock/gravel products, crushing/hauling services, and
over 25+ years of pipeline maintenance.
Ahtna Construction is DBE, 8(a) and Hubzone certified through the
Small Business Administration. Ahtna Construction can also assist
contractors in securing a five-percent, bonus payment on Department
of Defense (DoD) contracts under the Indian Incentive Program. Please

“Incident and Injury Free” vision a reality.
Ahtna Construction is proud to have been the recipient of the “Governors
Safety Award of Excellence” two years in a row, in 2003 and
2004. Ahtna Construction also received the Associated General Contractors
of Alaska (AGC) 2006 Excellence in Construction Safety Award.
