Ahtna Construction & Primary Products Corporations (AC&PPC) home office is located in Anchorage, Alaska at Tudor Rd. & Cordova Street with additional offices in Glennallen, Fairbanks and Valdez. A union company in business since 1974, we are licensed, insured, bonded, with established financial resources.
Ahtna Construction is a subsidiary of Ahtna, Inc., one of the 13 regional corporation established by Congress in 1971 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Ahtna, Inc. has over 1,200 shareholders and a land entitlement of 1.7 million acres in Alaska.

Ahtna Construction offers a broad range of services including a strong background in civil construction projects in Alaska, ranging from road/highway construction, heavy/industrial contracting, electrical/mechanical contracting, rock/gravel products, crushing/hauling services, and over 25+ years of pipeline maintenance.

Ahtna Construction is DBE, 8(a) and Hubzone certified through the Small Business Administration. Ahtna Construction can also assist contractors in securing a five-percent, bonus payment on Department of Defense (DoD) contracts under the Indian Incentive Program. When choosing a contractor to work with, Safety is a key consideration. Ahtna Construction, from executive management to craft employees has adopted the philosophies of S.A.F.E. (Shaping Accident Free Environments). S.A.F.E. is a behavioral driven process that dictates we devote our time and energies to the “Left hand side of Zero”, being proactive. All employees are asked to publicly commit to making the “Incident and Injury Free” vision a reality.

Ahtna Construction is proud to have been the recipient of the “Governors Safety Award of Excellence” two years in a row, in 2003 and 2004. Ahtna Construction also received the Associated General Contractors of Alaska (AGC) 2006 Excellence in Construction Safety Award.
